Under a Heat Dome

It's been hot as hell here lately thanks to what the meteorologists are calling a "heat dome." Add in some smoke drifting in from Canadian wildfires and it makes being outdoors no fun. I wondered about hot weather music and thought slightly twangy, acoustic and electric guitar fits the mood. There's just something about these tracks that feels right for an oppressively hot day.

I like this collection because it covers a wide range of years from 1984 to 2026, with stops in 1998, 2000, 2005, 2011, 2014, 2024, & 2025. I hope you enjoy the mix and stay cool.

Cheers!

Thanks from north of the border...no hard feelings about the smoke, I hope; we're in it, too. And thanks also for not calling this smouldering mix "Canadian Wildfires"...!
