This mix is pretty straightforward - it's a collection of tracks from some of my favorite ambient albums, so far, of 2023. The first three tracks are probably my top three albums of the year so far and I expect them to be on my year-end list in December.

Cheers!

Not sure if these are all ambient to the ear - the Modell/Noda, Eder, and Hecker leading lines are jazz. Consider the first two required little to no technology, something expected from ambient, else ambient would have existed long before the application of the technology of electricity to make music. And again, as mentioned in past remarks, a mix is supposed to sample its constituents, and is not the simple end to end concatenation of them (which may carry legal peril). A true to form "runaway track" here, 18 minutes from Dreamloops, is filler, as was intended by Huddleston from the outset having made all its peer tracks 18 minutes. Do fixed even minute mix durations now govern the art of mixing? THAT, if anything fulfills the title operative "Obsession". In summary, using a different "mix template" would yield better results.
