This mix is much more straightforward than the Antarctica set. This mix follows my "dubby & dreamy" formula of ethereal ambient dub tracks with a few gentle beats and lots of synth washes.

As described, this mix may follow in the "wintry" footsteps of the prior Antarctic mix, but is opposed in that its cuts were chosen on merit rather than word association, and what a meritorious result. Compelling, engaging, spacious, purposeful, rhythmic yet tranquil, almost hypnotic in effect. Astoundingly stays perfectly aligned with its namesake and thankfully avoids "motif ambient". No track overstays its welcome (well maybe perhaps the MYKJA as an isolated case), there are silky smooth transitions, and a sprinkling of monosodium glutamate. Love the final fade with the crowd noise overlay. I dare say one of the better dubs in the blog.
