Music for Recovery(from the midterm elections)

Well, christ on a bicycle, this midterm election season was a shit show. So here is a mix of beautiful ambient tracks to help us all heal and recover.

Here are links to all the albums used in this mix in the order in which they appear:

Cheers!

  1. Hey Dave, thanks for the mental medication mix. Much needed. The sh#t -show isn't over until the last vote is counted and whoever loses, loses gracefully. We won't know today, or maybe later this week, so may need to have this mix on repeat! Merci, J-P.

  2. Wow Dave, looks like between this and the Healing Vibes for Election Season in Feb 2020, where you stated you work in TV news: elections seem to really stress you out, and now having you resorting to colorful metaphors. Now that election season winds down, we can turn our stress to home heating costs this winter. I've resigned to set the thermostat to 66 and put on your great "The Long Polar Night" mix.

  3. Interstellar - you should hear the "colorful metaphors" I use everyday at work. I think one of the job requirements is a thorough knowledge of creative use of the "F" word.

JP - Now that things have settled down a bit we can all relax for two years. Haha, we wish! It's still a shit show.

    Cheers!

  4. So curious about which elements were the s#it show for you.

  5. "...which elements were the s#it show for you." - As an unabashed liberal I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of a "red wave". But in general the constant horse-race coverage by the press, inane punditry, misinformation, and the deluge of political ads from both sides made for another shit show of an election season.

    1. Thanks for the response. I totally agree, in every respect. Thanks for helping to turn down the volume.

  6. Does that make it a Low Life Mix? Sorry couldn't resist.
