I am afraid that characteristic was lost in this reincarnation. <br /><br />As we know, synth composers of this period had to find ways to fill out the length of the new CD media, and therefore carried their compositions past the point of enjoy-ability to monotony under the excuse of minimalism. Here the selections are not sampled, some are virtually replicated. That does not make for an interesting mix, especially when we have several minutes of the more modern Locust cut recycled.<br /><br />Throw-back style mixes like these should present there elements succinctly.
